Kate has a few words about Apple’s seeming desperation to promote iPhones during a slowing economy by using a little spam.
Historically, Apple has done a good job of opt in; only sending email promotions to those of us who say it’s OK. What is not OK, Apple, is to spam me with pop up Notifications. Yes, that’s a thing in Cupertino now. Not only is it difficult to stop email spam, Apple wants you to learn to love Notification spam.
Disappointing.
